One of the most unique and unifying concerts seen in St. Louis, World Percussion Theatre represented 5 continents of percussive culture. The program features: St. Louis Osuwa Taikos - Japanese Drumming; St. Louis Caledonian Scottish Pipe and Drums; the Spirit of Angela/Kumasi Nankama Aswad Kambeng - West African Drumming; the Thunderheart Singers - Traditional Native American Northern Drum and Vocal Ensemble; The Semidey Brothers - Masters of Latin Percussion; National Award Winning Drum Set Soloist, Terry Artis and starring the Show-Me Sound F.O.C.U.S. DRUMLINE in a celebration of diversity through percussion. WPT is presented by Show-Me Sound Organization, produced by the Show-Me Sound Organization and made possible with the support of: Missouri Arts Council, the National Endowment for the Arts, Regional Arts Commission, Art & Education Council, Fox Associates Foundation, Vic Firth Drum Sticks & Mallets and Cam Printing.
